Most dreamful night of my life part 1

I'm gonna tell you about two dreams I had this night that scared the living crap out of me.

And i'm gonna start telling you about the second one because that's the one that's freshest in my memory.
I start out in a house, kind of like a daycare center of some sort, and people start welling in, people I've known before because all the faces are familiar, specially one girl but now I can't remember who she was. They notice quite fast that I'm not actually from around here and I notice myself that this is actually a totally different time, possibly a future and that we don't seem to be on earth anymore (although everything looks the same). I also notice something slightly off with the people. They're always happy or atleast they seem to be, and they lack understanding of most things. Like they're retarded of some sort. And they all want to come near me all the time with sharp objects whether it was their teeth or a fork or anything like that.

I get it explained to me that these people have all had a surgery either recently or as a child, which is that they make three cuts on both sides of their brain suposebly to make them calmer and happier (and easier to manipulate) and the reason they all want to come near me is because they want to do the same thing to me. I refuse ofc, I didn't sleep while I was there and everytime I sat close to someone, specially the girl, I cupped my ears.

I remember somewhat trying to make them understand that this surgery that they're doing is not a good thing, and i'm telling them about where I come from and about science fiction to make them get a new kind of hope. Since I knew some of the people and at one time, KISS was there, although it didn't seem like they actually played anything, I got the idea that it was history reusing people, or maybe that it was just that it was another planet. An alternative universe of some sort.

I met my teacher at one point, a mostly sarcastic and jokingly kind of guy, funny and almost a little mean at times. And he was telling me a story about a photo with a bunch of people on with glasses, the picture was blurry and my teacher explained that it was taken through his old glasses that they were there to change. He was scaringly serious about it, considering how I knew him before.

Then I also met Mimi Smith (John Lennon's aunt who brought him up), she was old when I met her and I noticed quite fast that she hadn't had the surgery, probably because it was after her time. Like me, she didn't seem to keen about it. So I ask her about John, ask if he's had the surgery. And she answered me "They clipped him as a child". She seemed sad about it too, like it was something she really regretted and I nodded along, agreeing with this sadness before I said "It feels like I know him from a different time". And I remember her agreeing to that, like she knew more about the situation or that she knew about where I came from. (May I also point out that it didn't seem like anything became of John, I never met him in the dream but Mimi's reactions seemed to say that she knew what he could of been but considering that he had been cut stupid, those things couldn't happen anymore, all in all, the beatles never got the chance to exist)

And then I wake up. And I've never been so revealed about waking up.
Now when I think about it, I also remember meeting my dad and telling him about "being stuck in a dream" and that I couldn't wake up, so in the dream I was aware that it was in fact a dream, but I couldn't get out of there. I don't remember if my dad had done the surgery I never got a hint of that.

Psychedelia

I think i've found my new favourite culture! Psychedelia (Mind-manifesting, apparently)!

The Psychedelic culture is awesome!
Even though this colourful and surrealistic culture came out of hallucinating drugs I can't help but fall right in love with it. And I love it just because of the colours and the surreal nature of it, both in music and picture.
I remember in the beginning of my Beatles explorations when I found songs like Because and Lucy in the sky with diamonds, and I remember telling my mum about them making me feel like I'm on drugs without actually having to drug myself. Well that's what I think is so amazing with psychedelia, the whole idea of feeling all of what was great about the drugs at that time and not actually having to poison my body in the process.
I never did think I'd like colours so much like in this subject. I always did have a thing for Surrealism though, ever since I had to do a presentation on Salvador Dali. This is also one of the reasons to why I actually like movies like Yellow Submarine and Magical Mystery Tour (MMT was quite hated for not actually making any sense, but for me that's quite alright, it doesn't have to make sense to be enjoyable).

And how wonderful is it that some of the greatest bands just happen do have something to do with this culture. It's bloody brilliant! (some people who read this might know that I'm currently in class, but I'm actually doing a work regarding to this culture so I'm actually doing what I should be doing ;))

My personality in a song

I swear this songs explains me. It always comes to mind whenever I'm with my friend Rebecca, cus you see, she's always in a hurry, and for me who could easily just relax and do nothing it's annoying and I make sure to tell her that everytime it happens ;) Although, since me alone can't change her it just ends up with me walking a bit behind and softly humming this song to myself.

This one also really explains my response to whenever my mum feels like it's really important for me to wake up early on a day off, when really.. I spend most of my mornings in a half alseep state and I have very pleasent dreams by that time so why do I have to wake up?

Colin Morgan's continuous acting skills.

So.. Watched "Island"

I'm now adding "Slighty behind", "Murderous" and "Incest" to the list of Colin's acting checklist. Geezus that movie was a lot to take in.

WARNING, SPOILERS AHEAD!
He played Calum, a boy who seemed a bit retarded but who loved stories and to collect the treasures of the sea. A girl comes to stay at his mums place (who has cancer, btw) and he eventually falls in love with her and snogs her (for a moment in the "snogging"-scene it looked like he was going to rape her, I kept chanting "no!" throughout the scene, I can't have Colin rape someone, obviously..). The girl turns out to be there on a quest to find out who her family is (Calum and his mum), and she tries to ruin the mother's life by turning her son against her, whether by seduction or hopeless dreams (she uses both). In the end the mother finds out about her once lost daughter and all hell breaks loose between mother and daughter, which leads to Calum getting angry at his mum and killing her. May I also add that I hate the main character so much (the girl)

"Parked" w. Colin Morgan

So, all since Merlin ended I've been dying to see Colin Morgan in something else. Since he was a new actor when he starred in Merlin there's unfortunately not much to find. Before this I saw him in Doctor Who as a typical sarcastic emo dude called Jethro, and before that in a Catherine Tate comedy skit where he played the gay man John "have-you-heard-about-our-John" Leary.

So to say that I was excited when I stumbled upon a featured film with him as one of the leading roles, is an understatement. And not only is it a cosy little Irish/Finish indie film, it's a bloody good one at that!
It moved me in all the right places!

I'd also like to say how bloody weird it feels to see Colin in this kind of role, when you're so used to the kind and goofy Merlin, but he does a great job of it, absolutely. Soon he's played all the typical roles an actor could play (comedy, drama, wizard, drug addict, typical-teenager, gay and cross-dresser (in Merlin))

In, 2011 he starred in another movie called Island, but I have yet to see that one. I'm hoping that it'll be as good as this.

And there goes the end..

I'm actually not posting a christmas update here for instead I'm going to talk about something heartbreaking (atleast for me).

Today came the last ever episode of a show called Merlin, that I've watched and loyally followed from the beginning to the very end.
I do not cry for much, but the last ever episode had me in tears from the start and allthough the entire episode and I was not prepared for that at all. I don't think I'll ever be happy again!

Although sad, it was an epic ending, the first scenes seemed to me a bit ridiculous but right after that all it did was break my heart in the most wonderful way.

This show is the first and only show I've ever followed from start to finish. My dad showed me it before it was even shown on tv and I remember having another show called Legend of the Seeker to rival it with, in the end Merlin bore its way right to my heart whereas LOTS never really stuck. As some know LOTS got a spot on tv 6 here in sweden, and seemed to be the more popular one by the two, but for me Merlin will always be the better one.

The better cast, the better humour, the better heartbreaking moments, the better show.

You'll be missed (and rewatched many times).

Paul Cobain

So, I mentioned the whole Paul McCartney playing with the remainings of Nirvana for the Sandy relief concert. Well, I thought I'd show you how it went. This is a song that they've written together and quite honestly, even though I was a bit skeptical, I love it! I really want to hear the recorded version!

Stop caring so much

I read somewhere a few days back an argument for something that went like this "Isn't it better to care too much than none at all??" and I've thought about this and I have to say that.. no, it's not better to care too much.

Even if you personally don't care, there are always someone who does.. and normally (well I work like that anyways) since you're indifferent to the situation, you could help if someone asked you to, cus for you,, it doesn't really matter.

When you care too much, however, it can create a reversed effect towards those you want to help, almost like you're pushing them away and make them defensive rather then making them want to help you. Or.. something like is happening here in sweden atm can happen.. where they want to forbid people to dress up as gingerbread men because it might be racist.. (It's a fucking cookie, ofc it's not bloody racist...).

These kind of things pisses me off.. you can't hide everything you think is bad from people, it doesn't work like that.. and even if you managed to keep your children away from badness their entire childhood, how do you reckon they'll take it when they all of the sudden they end up in a bad situation, not so good I'd imagine. People have to get hurt, that's how we learn after all..

I was brought up in a world were things like homosexuality and sex wasn't a big deal, it wasn't bad and neither was it better than anything else in this world. This left me feeling like they were normal, I treated both subjects like they weren't any different to anything else. I think this is a good thing, I think that that's how we should handle the situation. If you meet someone who's overly positive about everything, doesn't it annoy you just a little bit? Or the other way around if you meet someone who's overly negative about everything. I can see why people would get defensive towards this kind of behaviour.. and I'm starting to think that this is a reason to why we still debate stuff like gaymarriage.

I don't know if any of this makes sense, it does in my head.. but I'm not an expert in explaining my thoughts so..

12/12/12

I suppose I should write something about this special day. And why is it special? Well, because this is the last time in our lifetime that we'll experience a repetative date (12/12/12). Ofc, this kind of thing will be able to happen again the year 3001, but considering I'm born in the 1900's I doubt that I'll still be alive by then. (sad, it'd be nice to live to the year 3000.)
Therefor, I'm not gonna complain about people talking about this, only because it is kind of special for us who weren't born just recently and probably will live to see 01/01/01 (again ofc, I did live to see 01/01/01 in 2001, I was 6 then).

I have to get up at 5am tomorrow because we're having Lucia-celebrations tomorrow. But unfortunately for me, at 1:30am there's a benefit concert with people like, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, The Who, Bon Jovi and Roger Waters that will air on MTV and that I really want to see. Apparently Paul's gonna play with the remainings of Nirvana with a song they've written together. But I figured that If I sleep now and wake up at 1:30 that'd be alright. We'll see.

It was 32 years ago today...

...Mark David Chapman took your life away...

Drinking tea and having a cosy time!

And with this cosy time, here's a Simon & Garfunkel song I haven't heard before

We all live in a Yellow Submarine

Weight loss

Ph: A picture of me from this year

I don't think that weight is that important, unless it's actually a danger to your health. You can be huge and still be gorgeous and the other way around. Unfortunately for some people, being big is a problem cus of clothes. At least it is for me. I'm a bit on the heavy side, and I want to wear weird clothes, my problem is that normally when I find something, I can't find it in my size, or I do, but it looks like crap.

My sleeping patterns are bad, I have trouble sleeping, and I easily get heartburns. My problem isn't that I eat too much, cus I don't actually eat much. But I eat when I'm bored and it's a lot of crap. And I don't excersize, mostly because I think it's boring to take a walk without knowing where I'm going, and because I can't walk to school so I don't always get the time to. I try to ride the bike at my mums place sometimes, but at dads I don't walk unless it's to the store..

I read a girls blog who was in about the same situation as me, and she mentioned getting back on losing weight, she knows it's working and it seems like an idea I could managed to do. So I actually thought I'd try it. Starting tomorrow, since I actually bought goodies for today. Wish me luck!

My day

So, here's a "my day" -post. You've been warned.

I had a pretty great day yesterday. Me, my friend Rebecca and my teacher Stefan went to Gothenburg to go to an open-house at a music-university. It ended up being us, walking around the building once, looking at the previous swedish actors who's studied there and then we got bored and went on to explore the city instead.

At first we ended up at Pizza hut for lunch, then we went on to a small record-shop at the train station, mainly because we couldn't find the one we was actually looking for and we didn't want to walk around for hours (those two are a pain to walk with because they walk fast like fuck). After that we went to a musicstore cus Stefan wanted to go there (he's a musicteacher after all) and while he found what he wanted, me and Rebecca looked at some instruments, banged some electric drums and found an aucoustic guitar signed by John and Yoko, with a nice drawing.

After that, we went on to actually try and find the record shop we were looking for and after a while of driving around town, having to turn around a couple of times cus of Rebecca's half-bad map-reading and Stefan swearing and mentioning a couple of times how much he hates to drive in Gothenburg, we actually made it to the shop. And what a glorious shop it was! It was huge, and had more than a couple of Beatles-themed stuff around the shop, like giant letters in the ceiling reading "Help!". And they also played Beatles-music when we were there. Lovely place.
In the end I got the LP Rubber Soul, some Yellow Submarine drinking glasses and a big Muse-poster. If I had more money I probably would've bought the whole shop.

On our way home we swore.

After that little adventure I followed Rebecca home with a pizza on our arm, and we ate and watched Sex and the city until more people showed up and we eventually headed to a pub called Backstage to celebrate two of our classmates, Gabriel and Jonathan. It was a lot of fun! I even ran into my dad's ex who couldn't understand what the hell I did there. I answered her with "where the hell else should I be? Lipz? (nightclub for fellow bimbos, no offense)" and ofc not, I'm not going there. The evening was good, with the lovely people of my class, and before I went home I even got to have a quick chat with a fellow Beatles-fan (unfortunately, I never got his name xD).

Day well spent!

Oh, well you can't win them all.. or anything.

So, after a long time of work I'd finally worked things out so that I could go see my beloved Muse in Stockholm.. and of course, because of my hard work, Matthew Bellamy goes and breaks his foot... Which means that there will be no show. Fucking hell...

I'll just go into a I-almost-made-it-to-a-concert-with-my-favourite-band-depression now.

Eddsworld - Space Face part 2

So, here comes part two of Edd Goulds last ever episode as I posted here a while go (he died of leukemia and didn't finish the entire episode, splitting it in two). This is also the first ever episode of Eddsworld that has nothing to do with him. I actually miss him, even though I think that the rest of them and the new voice actor is doing a good job of trying to come up with a replacement.

Since Eddsworld is a very popular show on youtube that actually makes money, Tomska and the rest decided to start a project of their own. They're raising money so that the young adults who are dying of cancer and are too old for a children's hospital, get a chance to have a good time too. That is, for example getting to play xbox or stuff like that. Cus apparently, the one thing Edd hated about spending time in the hospital was that it was extremely boring.. and that's not really how you want to spend the last days of your life, is it?

I think it's great, and if I could send in money, I would.

Paranorman

So, yesterday I finally saw the new stop-motion animated film Paranorman. And I absolutely loved it!

The film is about an 11 year old boy called Norman, he's constantly bullied for having a bit of a special gift. He can talk to the dead. Every year they hold sort of a holiday thingy for an old witch who got buried in their town, sort of. And a famous horror story is about a thing called "the witches curse" which was that this day every year she will wake the dead. When it suddently comes true Norman is the only one who can save them.

A few reasons why I love this film:
  • Lovely humour. For example a scene which I absolutely loved when Norman is walking to school and he says hello to all the ghosts only he can see. Which obviously gets a few weird looks. Also small little puns here and there, it's just lovely
  • Exciting. I actually felt like it wasn't very predictable. You didn't really know what was going to happen and you kind of expected everything. A nice and famous example for this is when the cheerleading girl asks the typical hunk dude about watching a movie with her sometime. To which he answers "That'd be great. You'd love my boyfriend, he's a total chick flick-nut". The lovely thing about that scene is that there's no hints before.
  • Extremely beautifully made. Both story and graphics were beautifully made. It's was gross and heartbreaking and funny and just wonderful. As for the graphics, there was quite a few "wow" moments for me where I could just watch in detail how everything was set up. It was awesome.
If I were to give this a rating I'd give it a 5 out of 5. I absolutely loved it! It was fantastic!

RE: What the fuck?

So, I made a post a few weeks ago about Uganda's "Kill the gays"-bill. Well good news folks! YOU can help to stop it! And please do, this kind of madness shouldn't be allowed in any country!
