My day
So, here's a "my day" -post. You've been warned.
I had a pretty great day yesterday. Me, my friend Rebecca and my teacher Stefan went to Gothenburg to go to an open-house at a music-university. It ended up being us, walking around the building once, looking at the previous swedish actors who's studied there and then we got bored and went on to explore the city instead.
At first we ended up at Pizza hut for lunch, then we went on to a small record-shop at the train station, mainly because we couldn't find the one we was actually looking for and we didn't want to walk around for hours (those two are a pain to walk with because they walk fast like fuck). After that we went to a musicstore cus Stefan wanted to go there (he's a musicteacher after all) and while he found what he wanted, me and Rebecca looked at some instruments, banged some electric drums and found an aucoustic guitar signed by John and Yoko, with a nice drawing.
After that, we went on to actually try and find the record shop we were looking for and after a while of driving around town, having to turn around a couple of times cus of Rebecca's half-bad map-reading and Stefan swearing and mentioning a couple of times how much he hates to drive in Gothenburg, we actually made it to the shop. And what a glorious shop it was! It was huge, and had more than a couple of Beatles-themed stuff around the shop, like giant letters in the ceiling reading "Help!". And they also played Beatles-music when we were there. Lovely place.
In the end I got the LP Rubber Soul, some Yellow Submarine drinking glasses and a big Muse-poster. If I had more money I probably would've bought the whole shop.
On our way home we swore.
After that little adventure I followed Rebecca home with a pizza on our arm, and we ate and watched Sex and the city until more people showed up and we eventually headed to a pub called Backstage to celebrate two of our classmates, Gabriel and Jonathan. It was a lot of fun! I even ran into my dad's ex who couldn't understand what the hell I did there. I answered her with "where the hell else should I be? Lipz? (nightclub for fellow bimbos, no offense)" and ofc not, I'm not going there. The evening was good, with the lovely people of my class, and before I went home I even got to have a quick chat with a fellow Beatles-fan (unfortunately, I never got his name xD).
Day well spent!
