The Zombie Apocalypse is coming!

Cleaned my motherfucking room

Hey Rebecca this is a shoutout to you!
I have personally kicked my own butt and cleaned my room so you don't have to do it anymore!
Hey, I know the bed looks messy, but I'm doing some laundry and I don't want to put it on the floor.
Yea yeah.. I know I have some Tokio Hotel posters still up. Don't hate on me, I used to like them a lot so I still respect them and their music! Though my little brother teared one of Bill apart, maybe he's not a big fan..

Music thingy, Cus I'm bored.

  1. Favorite bands. The Beatles, Muse, Arctic Monkeys, The Last Shadow Puppets, Them Crooked Vultures, Queens of the Stone Age and many more.
  2. The first band you ever liked. Well, don't know.. I've liked AC/DC and Gyllene Tider almost all my life.. but the first band I ever counted as my favourite was Tokio Hotel
  3. Favorite genre of music and why. Hard one. I like anything different really.. I like indierock I suppose. but then I also like music from the 60s and such. I want something exciting in a song. Something that makes it different from any other song. And I want bands that are equally good recorded as live. So no produced shit without real instruments.
  4. Least favorite genre of music and why. The overproducet shit, as I said just recently. xD And I don't like Rap music or Ballads... idk I think it's boring, and there's not much variarity.
  5. Favorite singer? Probably Matthew Bellamy. I adore that man's voice!
  6. Favorite guitarist? Same.. But I like Tom Morello too.
  7. Favorite bassist? Paul McCartney, ofc
  8. Favorite drummer? Hard one.. The Rev, possibly.
  9. If you could only listen to one band for the rest of your life, what would it be? Muse or The Beatles
  10. Five favorite albums. "Love" The Beatles, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" The Beatles, "Absolution" Muse (Any album with them really), "Dawn of Victory" Rhapsody and "The age of the understatement" The Last Shadow Puppets
11. Put your itunes on shuffle, list 20 songs that come up.
  • Matchbook Romance-Surrender
  • The Beatles-Golden Slumbers
  • Cheap Trick-Surrender
  • Sonata Arctica-It Won't Fade
  • Creature Feature-One Foot In The Grave
  • The Beatles-Till There was You
  • Them Crooked Vultures-No one loves me and neither do I
  • Nine Inch Nails-The Hand That Feeds

13. 10 songs you could never get tired of. Recess-Muse, I Me Mine-The Beatles, Mean Mr.Mustard-The Beatles, Dangerous Animals-Arctic Monkeys, R U Mine?-Arctic Monkeys, Calm Like You-The Last Shadow Puppets, En Flicka som är stark-Mimikry, Love Will Tear Us Apart-Joy Division, Girl-The Beatles and Knights of Cydonia-Muse
14. 10 most played songs on your itunes. They're all by the beatles so I'm just gonna say the names: Hey bulldog, You've got to hide your love away, Nowhere Man, Eleanor Rigby, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Yellow Submarine, Love Me do, Help!, Yesterday and Lady Madonna
15. How many cds or albums do you have? Wow, I don't know... maybe around 20?
16. How many band posters do you have? A lot! But I only have 5 or 6 up if you count both places.
17. How many band shirts do you own? A Few. Not much.. maybe 5 or so
18. List all the concerts you’ve been to. One, Tokio Hotel's Humanoid City
19. Tell us about your favorite concert. Well Since that's the only one I've been to, it has to be my favourite? And there's not much to say really. Except that we had to wait a LONG time before they came on. But other than that, it was really fun and epic! and when I started highschool I found out that one of my classmates were there at the same time I was. xP
20. Do your friends listen to the same music you do? No, can't say they do. Though Rebecca and I have some songs and so incommon. And me and Felix has some bands and so incommon as well. But overall, no.
21. Songs that make you cry. I'm gonna be boring and say that songs don't have that impact on me.
22. Songs that make you laugh. Ehm... Fix You-Coldplay.. xD Only for the line "I will try to fix you" Since I don't listen to coldplay, i just find that line rude.
23. Songs that make your horny. Well I've had some eargasms if that's what you mean. In that case it's quite a lot.
24. Songs that make you pissed off. None. Except songs that I don't like, I suppose xD
25. The song/songs that “got you into” a band. For Muse it was the live version of Uprising. For Arctic Monkeys it was Dangerous Animals, For The Beatles.. it was probably Nowhere Man or Eleanor Rigby or Hey Bulldog.
26. The story of how you got into a certain band. Well then. Yellow Submarine was one of my favourite movies as a kid. And I had a time in my life were I decided to rewatch some of those movies that I used to watch and that I remembered some stuff from. And well.. I've heard of The Beatles before (ofc) and we played While My Guitar Gently Weeps in one of my ensemble lessons, and I thought that was a great song but I had never really listened much to them. So I rewatched Yellow Submarine and not only did I fall in love with the movie all over again but I also fell in love with a lot of the songs in it, and decided to check up more of their songs, and since then I've been stuck.
27. 5 favorite ballads? I don't like ballads... D:
28. The most underated genre of music in your opinon? What we call Rockabilly (50s rock music I suppose) and Dubstep actually have some good "songs"
29. Do you consider yourself a “diehard fan” in some cases? I suppose, but I'm not extreme.
30. Do you head bang to music? I headbang to livemusic. Like when my classmates band "Falls of Mimir" play
31. A song you dislike by your favorite band. Nishe-By Muse xD
32. Your views on mainstream music. You no longer need musical talent to be a star.. You just have to be able to pretend. It makes me a little sad. And as I said before, there's not much variarity anymore, much of it sounds the same to me. It's boring.
33. 5 songs you used to hate but now enjoy. Hey Jude-The Beatles, Helter Skelter-The Beatles, Like Dreamers Do-The Beatles, Gimme Shelter-The Rolling Stones and...Please, please, please let me get what I want-The Smiths

35. Do you dress the “style” of a music genre you listen to? I don't know, I don't think so. I don't know how I'm supposed to dress with the music I listen to. I mean, how do a Beatles fan dress? I don't dress like a girl in the 60s at least. Maybe like a boy in the 60s though.
36. So you stick to one genre, or are you all over the place with your music? I'm all over the place.
37. Do your parents approve of your music choice? Yes, I even like some of the same music they do so.
38. Do you play an instrument? I play electric guitar in school.

40. Do you approve of auto-tune? No.
41. Do you prefer songs about fun, or songs which are serious? I usually don't care about what the song is about. But I think my favourites are those where the melody don't get along with the lyrics.. Like Maxwell's silver hammer, Map of your head or that suicide song by Hollywood Undead.
42. Ever find yourself doodling band logos in your free time? I used to, not anymore though.
43. What is the most important thing music has ever given you? I don't really know.. insperation I suppose. I'm an art person, paintings and such and I find insperation in music.
45. Are you in band/want to be? Used to I suppose. And I would like to but it would be nice if we all liked the same music.. which is hard to find.

Mozart

The highlight of my second year of highschool has passed.
This previous wednesday, our school choir got together with a professional choir and orchestra to sing Mozart Requiem that we've been working on since the beginning of this school year. All went well and it was certainly an experience to be remembered. I'm going to miss singing Mozart, it was the most fun I've had there!
If you want to listen to the result, it can be found here: http://www.magnusaberg.se/mag/MusicPlayer/6/1/Default.aspx

Thunder

So yea, when I left school it was thundering outside. Now I'm at Rebecca's place, eating ice-cream and watching F.r.i.e.n.d.s. and at six we're going to trollyawards. Basically a very small Golden Globe-wannabe :)

I Am The Walrus-The Beatles

Falls of Mimir shows their love for Rebecca Roth

My previous week

I have actually thought about writing about at least two of the events that happened this week but I've never done it. So now, even though I am tired and in slight pain, I thought I'll make a post about both things, and more, maybe.
Ph: I obviously did not take this photo
Anyways. I can start of by telling you that I saw The Avengers this wednesday (Finally!) with my good friend Felix. And I gotta say, it was as good as I expected it to be. Not better, not worse, but what I expected. I will never say a bad word about them changing the actor for the Hulk either. I was a bit doubtful about that but Mark Ruffalo actually did a pretty good job of it. I also will forever love Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, and I will probably always think that Captain America is lame, but oh well. Overall it was pure awesomeness!

This friday (yesterday)
our school had something directly translated to "The Challenge" which is a competition between our school (Magnus Åberg Gymnasiet) and our rival school (Nils Ericsson Gymnasiet). So at 11 o'clock, me and some fellow school mates went to an artroom to paint our faces in our schoolcolours (orange and black) and at 11:45 am we followed our parade down to where the competition were to be hold.
I usually don't care for sport, but when it's for the spirit of the first school I actually really like, ofc you're gonna go a bit crazy and act like a hooligan! It must've helped too, cus we won! The first time in 4 years!
Later on I went to a pub called Backstage to eat some tacos with some friends and after that we went to a concert with Falls of Mimir, Defudged etc. I was tired as hell afterwards and in pain from all the headbanging. But nonetheless, a day well spent!

My Dream

So eh.. I dreamt a rather weird dream yesterday. Or well, on a dream level I guess it's not that weird but weird enough for me to remember most of it. Specially one part of it. Since I normally don't remember my dreams, I thought I would tell you about this one, since I do remember it.

Anyways. It started off with that my family and some other people I didn't recognize were celebrating something (I can't remember what now) and I went out to get a friend of mine so that he could join the party cus I knew he loved cake. Now this friend, I know he wasn't human but I can't remember what he was, he was shorter than me though. Anyway. I found him outside the house, hiding from something so I asked him what. He told me about these people that were chasing him because he had something they wanted. And I must've heard the story before cus I remember that I wasn't surprised to hear about it and I offered my help.
So I went into the forest to look for someone that might've looked suspicious.
After a while I remember I jumped down onto a field and on the left of me was a fence which I held myself against so that I wouldn't fall. It was apparently very hard for me to walk in that field and the fence was a bit higher up than the ground I was walking on.
A bit further in on the field I noticed a horse laying down on the side on the other side of the fence. The head was pretty close so I stroked the horse and called for it, but it didn't respond. I noticed then that "holy shit, this horse is dead!" so I looked around to see even more horses lying the same way the dead one was (they were dead aswell) and I also noticed that there were horses like that on my side of the fence aswell. I also notice that there's thick ropes tied up straight across the entire field. Obviously these horses had gotten stuck in these ropes and therefor starved to death.
I started walking a bit faster than before trying not to get stuck myself and at the end of the fence I notice some horses that were still alive and decide to help them. Though for some reason I knew that I could only rescue one. So I call my friend who was wanted and asked him to come and help me then I walk to a white horse and start untangle the ropes from its legs and helps it up. I remember that he couldn't stand properly cus he's been lying down for so long, but he could walk alright.
Anyways, me and my friend get him home and put him in the garden and you know help him all we can. Then we notice that the horse wasn't a horse at all, it was a teenaged boy. More specifically it was John Lennon's first born son, Julian. So I was like "Hey I know who you are". He was furious too, not at us though, but he kept talking about wanting revenge. I don't know on who or why but I know that he kept sneaking out in the middle of the night to seek this person up. But that he never succeeded. I also remember that he tried to kill himself by drowning himself in our pool, cus apparently my family owns and runs a poolhouse. I also remember being totally cool with him trying to kill himself. Makes me sad, cus I like Julian, he's my favourite beatle-child.

Art Project

Well, I think I mentioned in a previous post that I was going to do boxart in artclass. Now I am happy to pronounce that I've gotten an idea and I've started on it. A zombiefied version of The Beatles' album cover for Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. I choosed this cover because it's my favourite cover and there's a lot you can do with it. So far, I've only gotten a few sketches of the beatles as zombies. Though I think I'll still do some changes.

Then I've gotten two ideas for the people in the background of the album. One is that I'll make them all a  group of random zombies. Or that I gather a bunch of famous murderers or evil people (And zombify them.. no Idk they can just be normal). Gathering evils will take longer time but it could be more fun. Then for the garden I'm not quite sure yet, but I was thinking (since it's boxart) that I'll mix in some "Pink Floyd's The Wall"-inspired flowers sticking up. Sounds like an alright idea?

Spotify

Ph: A Playlist of mine on spotify! Don't really know my username so if you want to add me just send me yours!

So yeah, I just got back home from a mate of mine, Rebecca. I was actually hanging out with her today because I was hoping of getting some time to play Rock Band with her, but as we got to her place it turns out we can't. So instead we've been talking, watching a movie called 50/50 (Quite alright actually) and listening to music. So even though it didn't turn out as I wanted it to, it was still a day well spent!
I'm currently also very proud over my playlist because I've been able to reach an amount of 542 songs, which is more than I've ever had! And a bonus to this is, that it's all songs that I actually like! My daily musictaste has never been this big before!
Tomorrow we're gonna have a national test in english so now that I've found someone to wake me up in the morning so that I won't be late, I'm actually turning in for the day. I just wanted to write something before I go. And later that day I'm going back to the Roth's household to spend an evening of Star Wars!
God bless and all that!
